National PTA's 2011-2012 Reflections Program This year's theme for the 2011–2012 PTA Reflections Program was “Diversity Means… “ In its more than 40-year history, the Reflections program has encouraged millions of students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students in preschool through grade 12 are encouraged to submit works of art in six arts areas: * Dance choreography * Film production * Literature * Musical composition * Photography * Visual arts (Only new pieces of artwork inspired by the theme may be submitted) Questions can be directed to www.ptareflections.org/cs/about_reflections , nyspta.org or either co-chair. 2011 Reflections Winners We had over 100 submissions for The PTA reflections this year. The theme was “Diversity is” All the students did a great job and should be proud of themselves for all their hard work. A viewing will be arranged later in the school year for all projects to be viewed by the entire Dogwood Community.
